Beowulf: A New Translation by Maria Dahvana Headley
Saturday, June 13 @ 1PM | Borden Park
If your love languages are swords, adventure, and reading out loud, come spend the afternoon in Heorot’s Hall and test your mettle on Grendel.
“Bro! Tell me we still know how to speak of kings!”

Beowulf Brunch
- Bring whatever you need to be comfortable sitting outdoors, as well as fed and watered. There will be some tea, beverages, and snacks as well.
- We will sit in a circle and each person can read as much or as little as they like.
- Bring your own copy of the book or e-book–bought, borrowed, or taken out of the library.
- Please come to laugh, fuck up the prose, and enjoy the lost art of reading out loud!
